Hi! I’m Sem Sjouke,
a Dutch videographer and filmmaker with a passion for capturing discipline, power, control and focus.

With a background as a professional ballet dancer, I understand movement on a deeper level, how it feels, how it flows, and how to translate it into compelling visuals. I spent years pursuing excellence in dance, performing with companies such as American Ballet Theatre and Het Nationale Ballet. That same dedication now drives my work behind the camera and in the edit.

I specialize in filming high-level performance in movement, working with athletes, dancers and performers who take their craft seriously. At the same time, I’m open to collaborating on projects beyond this space, especially when there’s a strong sense of passion, energy or storytelling. I also work within the music scene, creating visuals for bands and artists.

After going to film school and gaining experience as a junior producer at FutureFrank, I now combine creative instinct with a strong sense of production.

Based in Amsterdam, I’m always pushing myself, both physically and mentally, to keep growing and refining my craft.
